Anyways was established in 1995 as a downtown Chicago-themed neighborhood gathering place which combines the sophistication of taverns from Lincoln Park, the eclectic taste from Wicker Park, and the warmth of your neighborhood bar for food, drinks, and friends, now after 11 years Anyway`s has even more to offer. Our Theature room, dinning room, and our newly re-modeled porch and bar area, can be a perfect place for showers, birthday parties or dinner rehearsals.
After several unsuccessful ventures at 5 East Roosevelt Road, George Lamberis finally got it right! February 13, 1995 marked the debut of Anyway`s.
Now completed, the facade beckons partrons and the interior ambience offers even more to dinners and to those who prefer an exotic variety of drink selections. Its distinctive design includes the additon of an old-fashioned beer garden which further adds to the enjoyment of dining alfresco during the beautiful Chicago summer evenings. In addition, the screened in-porch area off the bar is large enough to accommodate parties and also provides an inviting outside atmosphere without the annoyance of insects. The addition of these rooms complements the existing facilities for parties and banquets.
The renovation will pique interest, and the congenial atmosphere, delectable cuisine, and amicable staff will entice you back time and time again. The aura of Anyway`s and classic American fare has something to please everyone and makes patrons of all ages feel welcome. Anyway`s brings the flavor of Chicago`s distinctive neighborhoods to the western suburbs.
