The Jonson Associates
The Jonson Associates trace their roots back to 1873 - two years after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 - when founder Gus Hallberg, created the architectural and engineering practice of L.G. Hallberg & Associates. The firm was instrumental in the city`s renewal efforts after the disaster, including the development of new standards for reinforced concrete structures.
Today the Jonson Associates continue to work tirelessly to meet our Client`s goals in the tradition started by Gus Hallberg 130 years ago. We relish the opportunity to serve your company whether your operation is confined to the Chicago land area, or you are spread out from coast to coast. We are licensed in over 40 states and have successfully completed numerous overseas projects. We are currently in the process of remodeling a new office building in suburban Burr Ridge.
