Jack Steindl and Reg Marzec founded Normandy Builders in 1979 with the idea of creating a better kind of home remodeling company for the Chicago area. The goal was to take the stress out of home improvement. This is why we bring our award-winning designers to you, provide an interactive showroom and design center to make all of your selections and give you your own project manager to handle all of your construction needs. Their idea has proven so successful they now have a staff of over 60 designers, architects, project managers and craftsmen.
Normandy designers are experts in helping homeowners define their vision. It starts with their first visit to your home. Your designer will sit down with you to discuss the issues you are trying to address and what you are hoping to achieve. Your designer will come fully prepared to measure, sketch and show you similar Normandy design build projects. Together you will create a wish list, define the scope of your project and set a realistic budget.
Designs have been finalized. Product and finish selections have been made. At this point Normandy`s residential architects, working with your designer, will prepare a full set of blueprints. These drawings will include all of the specifications, floor plans, elevations and design selections. Once you approve the architectural blueprints and the budget is finalized, building permits are obtained.
We guarantee you a start and finish date because we understand how important it is that your remodeling project is completed on time. We will pay you $100 per day for each day your project is delayed. Our goal is to make sure your Normandy experience is as enjoyable as possible.
