Turning Pointe Dance Company offers a wide variety of classes taught by accredited instructors that will fit both your schedule and your budget. We have an extremely high standard for our instructors. All instructors are qualified to teach in their discipline of dance, and most have relevant professional experience.
All early childhood division classes will not exceed 10-12 students so that each child is guaranteed individual attention. Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, & Modern classes will also have no more than 12 students, so that the instructor can ensure each student is demonstrating proper technique. Hip-Hop and Adult classes will have no more than 15 students so that each student will have enough space to move comfortably. All of our studios are large enough to hold full classes and workshops. Each studio is equipped with professional dance flooring, full length mirrors, and a top of the line sound system.
We offer classes for everyone, literally. Children, Adults, Moms, Dads, and Grandparents can benefit for the wide variety of classes offered. We have programs for the most serious dance student and for those looking for fun.
Early Childhood Division (Ages 2 – 6):This division focuses on making dance a fun so that the students develop a passion for dance.
Transitional Division (First - Third Graders): In this division students will "transition" to full classes in each discipline of dance. Students will continue to learn and use dance terminology. They will also be expected to understand and demonstrate proper technique.
Progressive Division (Fourth Grade & Up): This division is open to all dancers at all levels!
Competitive Division: This division was designed for the serious dance student. The focus of this division is to prepare our students for college and job auditions. Students will compete in a minimum of three dance competitions each year and attend several dance workshops taught by master instructors.
Adult Division: Many TPDC Moms participate in the classes offered in this division. For many itðs an outlet to relieve stress, get some exercise, and socialize with other adults.
