Metro Eye Care
Dr. Lewis F. Jones III received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign in 1989. He was awarded the U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship to attend the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated with highest honors in 1993. During his training in Chicago, he received numerous academic achievement and clinical excellence awards.
He started his career serving as a medical officer in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia. His hospitalbased training at Martin Army Hospital allowed him to become an assistant clinical professor for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Houston. Since his honorable discharge from the Army, he has been in private practice for the last ten years, working in various locations including a corneal and LASIK specialty practice based in St. Louis, Missouri.
Over the years, Dr. Jones has acquired extensive experience in several areas of eye care including laser vision correction consultation, glaucoma treatment, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, eye injuries, and corneal diseases.
Metro Eye Care carries the latest styles and trends in fashion frames. All of our frames and sunglasses have a free one or two year warranty depending on the manufacturer. In addition, if you are not fully satisfied with your frame selection within 30 days after your purchase, we will gladly replace it with another of equal price value!
