Naperville`s first full-service salon, Elegante Salon opened in 1972 bringing to a growing vibrant city a beauty experience to match. Kay Smith and her husband, Dale set out to offer the services of a professionally trained staff, serving guests in an elegant comfortable and relaxing setting. A second and third location were added in l975 and l979. Today, all three salon locations have been complimented by the expansion into Day Spas!
While bringing to Naperville the latest technological advancements in our field, customer service is our top priority. This includes one-to-one interaction that makes a guest feel welcome, listened-to and appreciated. Our continuing education program is unmatched as is our employee commitment to outstanding customer service!
Licensed by the State of Illinois, our professionally trained Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians and Estheticians are aware of the changing trends in hair and cosmetic fashions. Our designers keep up to date by participating in various seminars and conferences throughout the year. Many of our staff are members of the National Cosmetologist Association, Illinois Cosmetologists Association and Chicago Cosmetologists. All our Technicians and Therapists hold degrees and licenses.
Our professionals continually receive special training in the scientific approach to hair care by Redken 5th Ave., Matrix and Paul Mitchell Systems and in skin care by Guinot of Paris, Murad, Cellex-C, and Repechage. Our continuing education program is unmatched. We regularly host guest artists and educators from around the world and send our talented staff to train with the top practitioners in our field. Several of our staff have degrees in advanced cosmetology from Universities in Illinois. We are proud to regularly recognize employees who have been with us for 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years!
