Wine Expressions is your home for Prairie Wine Club, Prairie Big Bluestem, and premier wine-focused special events.
The Store. Inside, you will find a pleasant and personal shopping experience, from the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired decorating to the handmade tasting bar, to the customer service offered by our personnel. The overall atmosphere is one to help you relax, enjoy our in-store events and feel comfortable shopping and referring others to the store.
Wine Club. Our monthly wine club provides an easy and convenient way for you to learn about wine, build up your wine collection, and taste fabulous new wines each month. Educational materials supplied with the wines teach you about the region, the winery and the wine itself, including food pairing suggestions and age-ability guidelines. You select 2 or 3 bottles per month, any mix of reds & whites.
Events. Friday and Saturday afternoons feature our in-store Prairie Sampling Seminars, where we provide educational information and a selection of wines for tasting to customers. Our in-store tasting events feature beers on a select Thursday evening each month, and wines on the weekends. We will focus on introducing little-known yet high quality wines to expand our customers' knowledge and appreciation of wine. The time we spend on research, and our ongoing relationships with distributors, will bring you the benefit of unique wines at great value.
Once per month, usually on the first Monday, we host Ladies Night Out. These fun evenings include seven wines for tasting, paired to gourmet food samplers, and educational materials.
Related Services. In addition to in-store tasting's, we can offer customized events for you, including bringing the wine to you. We can conduct a private tasting in your home, office, clubhouse, or other location and organize an evening that will have your guests talking for months. We can provide our store as a unique setting for your private events as well. In addition, we have cultivated relationships with local caterers to supply foods that are complimentary to the wines we will serve. From casual to formal, small group to large, personal event or business meeting, we are ready to help make it fabulous.
Wine Expressions is in downtown Lisle, on the ground floor of a new condominium/retail complex at the Southwest corner of Main Street and Burlington Avenue. This location provides easy down-the-steps access from the local Metra commuter train station and downtown shopping and is accessible from major local roads. The storefront location provides ample free parking - in the front and back store lots or along Lisle's Main Street.
